Aren’t you glad our market isn’t in a parking lot? Come enjoy the shade and breezes of Dufferin Grove, and all the good food the farmers and vendors are bringing. The Park Staff is setting up a sprinkler for the kids (and maybe some adults, too.) Such a long list of notes this week!

Ted Thorpe says he’s got phenomenal sugar snap and shelling peas, lots of zucchini, beets, all kinds of greens, and he’s hoping to bring a few of his cousin’s late strawberries.

Mel Golba writes, “Things are growing well here at Plan B with all the hot weather mixed with thunderstorms! Here’s some of what we’ll have this week:

Debbie Wiecha of Niagara Lavender Farm says, “We will have another small load of raspberries, cherries and lavender”, so apologies to latecomers….

Jason Kun of Island Oysters returns for his last visit til fall. Icy cool oysters sound just right!  

Tara of Catalyst Community Herbals is back, bringing a selection of things that are good for what ails you.

Sosnicki Organic Produce will unfortunately have to be absent from this week’s market.  (The strawberries are really dwindling now anyhow.) We will be back with more peas, **new potatoes** etc. as soon as Ben tends to planting out our storage crops, which we are behind on!” Jessie

 Mushrooms (and coolers) don’t get along well with heat, so Waymac will be absent again, and Pine River has more vehicle woes.

Heidrun wrote to say that the Dufferin Park Bakers are are making challah along with most of the ‘regular’ delicious breads.

Don’t forget to try some of the fabulous ice cream from All Sorts Acres and an ice pop from Fressy Bessie, as well as a long, cool drink from one of the vendors.
