About the Market
A very short history of the Dufferin Grove Farmers' Market and Web Store
What’s going on at the Market after two years away from the park
Yes! Starting Thursday May 19th, our farmers and vendors will be back in Dufferin Grove Park every Thursday 3pm — 7pm. We hope to see you there.
Due to ongoing construction, the market is setting up at the South end of the park, near Sylvan Ave. [Google Maps Link]
Our vendors have changed over the past two years. Some old friends like Marvellous Edibles, Angelos, and Ted won’t be in the park this summer, but we’ve picked up a few new vendors too, like Nith Valley and Harley Farms.
No, we’re moving out of our depot at St Anne’s. All our vendors and products will be available for in-person shopping in the park.
Yes! You can still place orders between Noon Saturday and Noon Tuesday. We’ll deliver them Thursday afternoon. The system will work pretty much the same as before except we’re operating out of the park instead of the depot St. Anne’s, and the orders are delivery only (no pickups).
Please see How Ordering Works for details.
Online orders will be for delivery only for now.
They’ll be almost the same but not quite. Some vendors are online-only and some will only be at the park.
Just because something’s listed online doesn’t guarantee it’ll be available for in-person purchase on Thursday afternoon. Farmers might bring some unlisted surprises to the park.
If possible, leave a cooler or box to keep your order safe from the heat/weather and animals.
You can read the Vendor Guidelines here.
We always maintain a balance of over half farms on our vendor list, and anyone who applies to be a vendor must be directly involved in growing, raising or making the products offered for sale. We do not accept applications to sell crafts or nutritional supplements, provide services or represent product lines. Our vendor turnover is low, but we are always interested in learning about local organic food ventures. If you are considering applying to sell at the market, please read our Vendor Guidelines, and then contact market coordinator Anne Freeman via email to info@DufferinGroveMarket.ca. Send a detailed description of your products and any additional information that will help us get acquainted with you and your venture.
