Ali Harris has been bringing Caribbean food with a Bajan touch and local ingredients to Dufferin Grove for over a decade, but he has been cooking since long before that, beginning as a child making coconut drops with his Grandmother. Ali has many fans who look forward to seeing him each week, for a roti, fritters or a fish sandwich stuffed with delicious toppings, or to get some of his amazing hemp pesto.
Indoors, his talented friend Horace (@ptah’screation) often helps out. In the outdoor season, the crew expands, and you might find them making fresh watermelon or carrot juices and other delights.
