Tapioca Toronto

Tapioca Toronto was started in 2013 by Rafael Mendes when given an opportunity to cook and sell at Dufferin Grove Farmers’ Market. He began cooking Tapioca Crepes as a way to bring the food of his hometown in Brasil to Canada after noticing a lack of traditional Brasilian foods available in the market.

With a passion for supporting other local, small-time food makers and producers, Tapioca Toronto sources as much as possible from fellow farmers’ market farmers and vendors.
