How does it work? You give a gift here, and we turn it into a gift certificate and match it with someone who needs support to feed their family – allowing them to shop for their own needs and take part in the market! This gift will be combined with another already purchased gift so that a 36 dollar gift can become a gift for a family or a 54 dollar gift can become a gift for a large family!
Sturdy, sustainably made, hand-silkscreened bags for sale in support of The Black Woman Agricultural Freedom Fund.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Black women have been some of the most affected members of the Black community with loss of employment, housing implications, fractured education and childcare systems and violence in the home with implications to supporting their families and themselves.
The money raised from the sale of these bags is going towards purchasing agricultural land and equipment for the BWAFF, to support direct and collaborative projects with Black Women who farm!
