Good food, good times – and all within your very own community. 💜 Yes folks, the wait is finally over. Starting January 9th, you can get your Thursday afternoons “back on track”! And tasty hot food is here for you too – in liquid, or solid! Just stop by the Magic Oven stall (featured), to see for yourself!

And why not throw in some outdoor recreation while you’re at it? ⛸
That’s just what this lovely family did, (at last market.) Phillp, along with his two adorable sons, stopped by the market tent for a “cider break” (and a friendly chat), during their skate. Just think – this could be you!

Parsnips and carrots, from Nith Valley Organics.
And with a new year being well upon us, perhaps you (and those around you), made a new year’s resolution (or two?) Great! So I’ve heard that turning those plans into poetry, will “ensure” that they’re successful! haha
But jokes aside, take a moment to stop by Marc’s “Poetry Dispensary”, during your market visit, and “dispense” your 2025 goals to him – (or whatever else you’d like to share.) Let him amaze you!
Fresh mushrooms from Noki Farms, or dried mushrooms (below), from Forbes Wild Foods – take your pick!

Winter squash from Plan B Organics.

Vendor News, for January 9th..
Full vendor list here.
So last month we said farewell to our meat vendor, Dave, of Rogers Ranch. (But please know that you can still get lamb, and chicken, from Nith Valley Organics.) And Nathan tells me that (in the coming weeks), he may also be bringing pork – I’ll definitely keep you posted!
And more great news! A new vendor is joining us this week. Please get ready to welcome Link Haus – offering gourmet sausage, both grilled and raw, (pictured below.) Here’s a brief “intro” from owner, David Neiman:
“Link Haus makes extraordinary and unique gourmet sausages. We offer a rotating selection of over 40 flavours, all of which are made from whole cuts of Ontario meat (no trim or weird stuff), with no fillers, no preservatives/nitrates, or processed/artificial ingredients of any kind. Plus they are all gluten-free and dairy-free (with the exception of those that contain cheese).” Be there this week, to welcome them!

Also at this week’s market, is Alma Bakery – returning with their tasty dips and flatbreads.
Reza, (pictured below), is delighted to be returning to Dufferin, with his fine selection of Persian cuisine.
And just acouple heads ups…
Please know that Urban Harvest is taking January off. Colette plans to return on February 6th. ChocoSol is also away this week, but should be returning in the coming weeks – (update to follow.)

Refreshing chufa beverages, from House of Tigernut.
