Last week (if you recall), I mentioned that āspringās a-comingā. And now, here it is! (Just about. š) This yearās spring equinox takes place on Thursday, March 20th, (at 5:01am) – which is also market day! And the good news is that thankfully, you donāt have to wake up quite that early, to catch the first market of spring – anytime between 3-7pm, (on Thursday), is fine with us! Hope to see you there. š

And as we continue to enjoy the longer hours of sunlight that accompany spring, we can also savour the knowledge of what lies ahead. Spring promises a wonderful, farm-fresh bounty (in the coming months.) And if thatās not enough, how about spring flowers?!
Over the last week or two, I connected with some of our (seasonal) growers, and believe me – good things are coming!

Since You Asked..
And speaking of āwhatās to comeā, some of you have asked about our outdoor/summer schedule. Yay! Less than a month ago, that all seemed so far away – that really was an epic amount of show! š
Ok, so hereās what I can share (right now), regarding our āoutdoor timelineā:
1- This yearās outdoor season officially starts on May 22nd, and goes until October 30th. That is when we are to be āon the grassā, facing west, (closer to Dufferin St.)
2- If we get a āsummer-likeā spring, we could gradually move outdoors sooner (into the courtyard – not on the grass.) This could happen in April and early May – (depending on how warm it gets.)
3- Outdoor vendors? This will be communicated (fully) in the coming weeks. But thankfully, much of the same vendors (from last year), will be returning. (With a few exceptions.) And some new vendors will also be joining us – please stay tuned!
Fresh parsley! Still available every week, from Nith Valley Organics – incredible.
