Hello Market Friends:
This week, we are celebrating a sweet 16 years having a year-round market at Dufferin Grove. Happy 16th to everyone who loves the market! Please come for a taste (or two or three) of delicious market birthday cake. We’ll be sharing round Leslie Lindsay‘s legendary Parsnip, Beet-Chocolate and Carrot Cakes, including gluten-free and vegan options.
It’s time for a little reminiscing….Anybody reading this who was at the very first market in November 2002? Anyone who has a favourite market memory? We’d love to hear from you.

Arugula, Beets (red/rainbow), Broccoli, Nappa Cabbage, Green Cabbage, Carrots (orange and rainbow), Cilantro, Collards, Gai Lan, Garlic, Kale, Kohlrabi, Leeks, Onion, Shallots, Parsley, Parsnip, Purple Potatoes, Radicchio, Purple/White Daikon Radish,Spicy Mustard Mix, Spinach, and Winter Squash (all sorts!)”
Some of our vendors will be coming for the last time this week as we’re moving mainly indoors next, so we really hope you can join us in thanking them for a great outdoor season.
