I am sending this image of early daffodils as a reminder that an exceptional wave of spring flowers is happening in Rome, because air pollution is down so much. So many people doing nothing is doing something for the planet. We’re not going to get ‘back to normal’ anytime soon; let’s hope that we can move towards a wiser path if and when we do.
Returning to market matters, THE MARKET IS STILL CLOSED.
We’re sending an early issue of the newsletter, to share information about how to order from our vendors, because it’s the best method available under these exceptional circumstances. We want to give you enough time to place pre-orders so you can get food from some of them this week.
The first 3 producers (with asterisks) below are coming to the neighbourhood on Thursday March 26th, to drop off pre-orders ONLY. Most will accept exact change in an envelope; if you don’t have access to electronic payment, you can still order.
