What a market we had last week! Yes, we were “gifted” with a little extra snow, but still you came – thanks for that! Feel free to collectively, pat yourselves on the back.

And why wouldn’t you show up? Great food, great vendors, in a welcoming space. A very special market we have. 💜

And despite the challenging weather, fierce farmers like Nathan, of Nith Valley Organics, still gave a cheerful thumbs up, while doing setup. Go Nathan gooo! 🤸

Another reason to come in from the cold: delicious roti from Estelle’s Caribbean Cuisine. I overheard one customer describe the chickpea and potato roti (pictured), as her “market go-to”, because of Estelle’s “next-level chickpeas” – yum!

And a big “welcome back” to Vasile, of Green Florin! He was in Mexico for the past few weeks, but was thrilled to finally be back at Dufferin. Hopefully, that stormy weather wasn’t too much of a shock for him, having just come back from much warmer temps! Either way, great to have you back Vasile!

And on a side note, I just love our market shoppers – yes, you! I often glance at the “customer landscape” each week, and always arrive at the same conclusion: Dufferin market shoppers are very thoughtful about everything that they buy. Love that! 🙌
