A Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours! It’s time for a fresh start, don’t you think? Whatever resolutions you may be contemplating, I hope the market will be a good fit with them; it’s a place to build positive connections, learn about healthy eating, support small and local, and add fun to your week!
Despite the deep freeze, we will have a good crew inside. Some of our vendors will alternate through this stretch, so all can fit. Here are the pairs in the zamboni garage:
Shared Harvest gets the ball rolling this time, while Everdale will come in next week.
ChocoSol is coming to market, and Culture City fills that spot January 11th.
Normally, All Sorts Acre will alternate with Lowell Trout, but Jennifer is tucked in getting over a cold this week, so she will be absent.
Last but not least in the garage, Plan B will be coming to round out the selection!
In the rinkhouse (the north end) there aren’t so many trade-offs week to week. DeFloured will set up in Monforte’s spot this time, as they will be absent. Urban Harvest returns in April, and Pine River is taking a break because the cold means Bob doesn’t have vegetables he can harvest. Ali Harris and Horace will have delicious food to warm up with, and Kind Organics will have the fresh green things we’re all craving. The full list of vendors is below.
It’s not too late to join our Winter Loyalty program, and get rewarded for steady attendance. Read all about it here, or ask at the market.
Hope you’ll put on your best longjohns and come on over.
See you at the market!
Anne Freeman
