Lots of comings and goings to report this time:

Shayne will be setting up in the rinkhouse for DeFloured, so we won’t get to hear Chris‘s full account of their travels until next week.

Welcome back to Bees Universe, too!

Bye-bye Shared Harvest (for now, that is). Kevin says: “We’re pretty much out [of veg] aside from what we’re holding back in case it gets cold and California doesn’t want to feed us anymore!
Message to California: I got carrots, squash, beets, cabbage, black radish, kimchi, saurkraut, hot sauce, daikon and celeriac California. I don’t need you until at least April.
Thanks for the great season and we look forward to a triumphant return in late May. We enjoy our time at the Grove immensely!”

Lowell Trout will miss this market. We hope Sean will return in two weeks. Be sure to visit Rodrigo from Plan B in the garage! He’ll be out there with Vasile Florin and Culture City.

A very happy welcome to Nicole Jacobs, our new Market Assistant. Nicole will be familiar to many of you, as she has been coming to the market pretty much every week for as long as anybody can remember, and few in this world can match her warmth and enthusiasm.

Don’t forget, it’s almost Valentine’s Day. As the song goes, shower the people you love with love–and goodies from the market! DeFloured will have wonderful baking (hint, hint). Not looking for sweets? Show your dear ones that you give a sausage (with one from Jens  of Marvellous Edibles), or tell them you’re nuts about them with a package from Seth (Forbes Wild Foods).
